Your journey begins with a captivating ride south through County Wicklow, known as “The Garden of Ireland” for its lush landscapes and scenic beauty. This region offers an ideal mix of thrilling motorcycle routes and stunning vistas.

Ride through the breathtaking Wicklow Mountains, enjoying the winding roads of the iconic Sally Gap. Consider a stop at the ancient monastic site of Glendalough, set amidst a picturesque glacial valley. Take in the tranquility of its round tower, lakes, and walking trails before continuing your journey.

Further along, pass through charming towns like Avoca, home to Ireland’s oldest working woolen mill, or stop for a break in the quaint village of Rathdrum, surrounded by lush forestry.

Today’s ride takes you along Ireland’s stunning coastline with two route options.

Option 1: Visit the iconic Hook Lighthouse, cross the Passage East Ferry, and explore charming seaside towns like Dunmore East and Tramore.

Option 2: Skip the ferry and travel through Waterford, where you can explore its Viking heritage and bustling city center.

Both routes bring you through the picturesque village of Ballycotton and on to Cobh, famous for its Titanic history and colorful waterfront. From there, ride through Cork City, soaking in its vibrant atmosphere, before arriving in Kinsale, where lively streets, historic Charles Fort, and gourmet dining await.

Today’s ride combines cultural exploration and breathtaking scenery as you journey from Kinsale to Killarney.

Start the day with an early visit to Blarney Castle (admission included!), where you can kiss the legendary Blarney Stone and explore the lush gardens before the crowds arrive.

From there, ride south toward the spectacular Healy Pass on the Beara Peninsula. This iconic route offers thrilling switchbacks and awe-inspiring views of rugged mountains and the Atlantic coast. Circle the Beara Peninsula to soak in its coastal beauty, passing through charming towns like Glengarriff and Kenmare, before arriving in Killarney.

Your route includes a crossing of the River Shannon via the Tarbert-Killimer Ferry, a relaxing and picturesque way to travel north into County Clare. As you ride along the Clare coastline, enjoy sweeping views and charming stops in coastal villages.
