Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Dublin
Welcome to Ireland! Your adventure begins with a private transfer from Dublin Airport to the luxurious Grand Hotel Malahide, your seaside haven for the first night. Use this time to acclimate to the local time and recover from your flight, ensuring you are refreshed for the road. Explore the charming Malahide village, visit the historic castle and gardens, or simply relax at the hotel’s premium facilities. It is the perfect, stress-free introduction to your upcoming Irish motorcycle journey.
Lemonrock HQ to Donegal
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before a private driver collects you for the transfer to Lemonrock HQ. After gear collection and a professional briefing, ride northwest toward Donegal. Along the way, explore historic landmarks like the Hill of Tara, Trim Castle, or Bective Abbey. Don’t miss Donegal Castle before checking into your hotel. This journey through rolling hills and the rugged Wild Atlantic Way coastline offers a thrilling immersion into the untamed soul of Ireland.
Donegal to Derry
From windswept Donegal, ride through open moorlands and untouched wilderness. Detour to the Slieve League Cliffs, Europe’s highest sea cliffs, for spectacular views. Navigate the remote, one-lane roads of Glenveagh National Park—a stretch built for motorcycles. Expect roaming sheep, jaw-dropping coastal scenery, and a deep sense of calm. As the wild landscape softens and the energy picks up, leave the quiet roads behind and roll into the vibrant, historic walled city of Derry.
Derry Loop
Start your adventure in Derry, riding north across Mulroy Bay into the Donegal wilds. Visit Fanad Head Lighthouse and sweep along Ballymastocker Beach before taking the Rathmullan ferry across Lough Swilly. Navigate the narrow Mamore Gap to Malin Head, Ireland’s northernmost tip. Returning south, explore the ancient Grianán of Aileach ring fort for incredible panoramas. Your epic loop ends back in historic Derry with a hearty meal and a cold pint. This ride captures the raw coastal magic of Ireland.
Derry to Belfast
Leave Derry early for an epic journey to Belfast via the Causeway Coastal Route. Experience breathtaking sea-swept bends, stopping at Downhill Beach for views of Mussenden Temple. Explore the haunting ruins of Dunluce Castle and the surreal Giant’s Causeway. Optional highlights include the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and the iconic Dark Hedges. Add the rugged Torr Head detour for remote coastal beauty before the landscape shifts and you roll into the vibrant, historic, and welcoming city of Belfast for the night.
Belfast to Lemonrock HQ / Dublin
Today marks your final leg from Belfast back to Lemonrock HQ. Begin with a tranquil ferry across Strangford Lough, followed by a scenic shoreline ride. Detour to Castle Ward, the famous Winterfell, before a second peaceful ferry crossing. A swift motorway stretch leads you back to Lemonrock HQ to return gear. Finally, a private transfer whisks you to your Dublin city hotel. Settle in and reflect on your epic motorcycle journey while enjoying your final nights in Ireland’s beautiful, vibrant capital.
Discover Dublin
Spend the day discovering the vibrant charm of Ireland’s capital with an included Hop-on/Hop-off bus tour. Your tour features admission to two iconic landmarks: the Guinness Storehouse, where you will learn the history of Ireland’s famous stout, and EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, an interactive experience showcasing Ireland’s global impact. Dublin offers historic whiskey distilleries and cultural sites to explore at your leisure. Whether visiting Trinity College or enjoying a pint, immerse yourself in the city’s lively atmosphere.
Departure from Dublin Airport
Your Irish adventure concludes with a private transfer from your Dublin hotel to Dublin Airport for your return flight home. Take this time to reflect on the incredible memories made during your journey, from breathtaking landscapes and thrilling rides to the warm hospitality and rich culture of Ireland.
We hope your adventure has been unforgettable and look forward to welcoming you back for another ride in the future. Safe travels!

Frequently Asked Questions
Our bikes are designed for public road use only. However, some of Ireland’s remote mountain roads offer the feel of riding off the beaten path, delivering an exhilarating experience that feels worlds away from the motorway.
Yes, all our bikes are maintained to the highest standards, but in the unlikely event of a breakdown, we provide 24/7 roadside assistance through our insurers. You’ll have peace of mind knowing help is just a phone call away, allowing you to focus on enjoying your ride.

- You are responsible for the upkeep of the motorcycle, accessories, and riding gear.
- Motorcycling is dangerous; you and your passenger ride at your own risk.

Our HQ is conveniently located in Baldoyle, halfway between Dublin Airport and Dublin city center. We recommend spending your first night at The Grand Hotel Malahide and wrapping up your adventure with a final night in Dublin’s vibrant city center.
Dublin Airport Transfer: For tour customers booking accommodations with us, we offer a complimentary chauffeur service from Dublin Airport to Malahide, from Malahide to Lemonrock HQ, and from your last night’s hotel back to the airport. Rental customers can also use this service for €130 per one-way trip (up to 3 people). Check with your Lemonrock Account Manager for more details.
Speed up your check-in by:
- Emailing us a scanned copy of your license (front and back) before you arrive.

Yes, all rental prices include comprehensive insurance, allowing you to ride legally on Irish roads (and in other European countries with prior permission). Our insurance also covers third-party liability, theft, and damage with a first loss of €2,500, which can be reduced with an additional Waiver Deposit Fee. Note that this does not cover personal accidents for you or your passenger—we highly recommend taking out personal accident insurance.

Yes, we offer private chauffeur transfers for our tour customers from Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre hotels to Malahide or Lemonrock HQ.
While it’s personal preference, keep in mind that 250 km on Ireland’s scenic, winding roads often takes a full day, with stops for photos, lunch, and soaking up the views. Unlike long highway stretches, these picturesque routes are designed for leisurely exploration, not high-speed travel.
Yes, we offer EU-approved helmets, jackets, pants, gloves, boots, and rain suits at a nominal daily rate. We primarily stock HJC helmets, with some Nolan and Caberg models. If you prefer using your own gear, that’s perfectly fine too—just be sure it’s comfortable and protective for long rides.
Absolutely! We provide secure storage for your luggage at our HQ while you’re out riding. Although we ensure it’s safe, we can’t take responsibility for stored items.
Yes, you can ship your riding gear to us in advance. Just let us know so we can keep an eye out for your delivery. Alternatively, we offer a full range of rental gear, including helmets, jackets, gloves, and boots for a small daily fee.
Simply use our online booking form, select your dates, and choose your preferred bike. Our system will instantly tell you if it’s available or booked out. You can proceed with booking or request a quote via email.
All our BMWs come with factory OEM “Vario” luggage systems, including a top box that doubles as a passenger backrest. Additional side panniers are available for rental. We also provide pannier liners for easy handling. Our other bikes, including Suzuki, Harley, and Honda models, come equipped with tailored luggage systems to suit your touring needs.
The standard R1250GS is ideal if you’re accustomed to the higher stance of adventure bikes. Riders under 5’8” may prefer the lowered version, especially when riding with a passenger. Both bikes offer outstanding handling and comfort, even if you’re new to adventure riding.
You’re welcome to attach your own accessories, as long as they don’t damage the bike. Let us know your requirements in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
